MUH-TAY-ZIK | HOF-FER wins Site of the Year.
The votes are in. Awwwards.com, which recognizes work from around the world for excellence in Design, Creativity, Content, and Usability, has named our work for Slavery Footprint as the best site in the world of 2011. Congratulations to our partners at Unit9, and Justin Dillon and the crew at Slavery Footprint.
This one means a lot to us. It is an issue near our hearts. Our original goal was to get 150,000 people to complete the interactive survey in the fist year. We hit a million in the first month, and have been covered in every major media outlet. Originally created with funding by the US State Department, the work has now gained the attention and additional funding of google.org.
